Though 1/72nd isn’t my preferred scale, I bought one of the earlier releases of this kit just to see what it is, and I believe it to be THE best F-84F ever kitted. It includes both early short and later tall vertical stabilizers, and can be built with or without the latter parabrake housing under the aft fuselage. With these options all but the earliest model F-84Fs with the smaller speed brakes (aka “boards”) can be built from this kit. The panel lines are also very nice.

I’ve written Special Hobby to suggest they up-scale it to favored 1/48th, and I encourage any of you who’d like to see this kit in that scale do the same. Or even 1/32nd?
