This kit was initially released in 1982, at the same time that Hasegawa released its 1/72 Ki-43 Oscar. Both were nice kits in their day, but feature raised panel lines. Unfortunately Hasegawa hasn’t updated many of their WW II era kits, with the exception of the H8K Emily. They just keep releasing 40-year old kits with new decals.
