Impressive :star_struck::star_struck:

I am waiting for my kit, I might just “copy” this camo and finish and just add unit markings

Nicely done.
My one is somewhere between China and Blighty and I am looking forward to making it.
Good idea for the camo, I was thinking of doing a digital scheme.

I have been thinking about pulling out my toe- and fingernails,
one by one,
slowly …

Come on, it is not that difficult, Robin. Straight lines at right angles. Easy.

I’ll be looking forward to Your detailed blog of how You went about painting a digital scheme Abrams

I can’t get over how much the actual vehicle looks like a tank from and 80’s/90’s game.

You have done a fantastic job on it. Thanks for sharing.

Inspiring stuff, thank you so much for sharing.
Not normally a fan of modern armour, sorry to offend but like modern cars, they all kind of look the same.
But I do fancy a bash at one of these now.
Don’t know if it’s the paint job, brilliant photo’s or what, but need to find the pennies for one of these.
Thinking of doing a similar pattern with 50% Digi-Camo on the Green & Brown, topped with a worn desert scheme that has been white washed

Wow- it really looks the business in the splinter camo- it just suits the shape and goes well with the angled ends of the side skirts! Great work.

Fantastic job…the three-tone splinter woodland camouflage really stands out as does the silver bolts and tiny details that you painted. This is a real eye catcher and your paint job really shows the sleek lines of the AbramsX.

Bother, I don’t have one in the stash…

After painting AOR1 & 2, digicam, and multicam, how hard can a tank be.

I hear ya about painting digital and multicam. Nearly went blind.
Good one about how hard can a tank be :joy:

Robin, game on

Would it count if I use a Ryefield M1A2V3 with Trophy? If so, I’ll do it. Natouflage in digital or artistic licence? And a time frame once kit is released. Otherwise it’ll drag if there is no time limit…

Im thinking this kit:

Doesn’t matter which kit you choose, the digi-cam will be just as easy or complicated on any vehicle. A flat sheet of styrene is another thing.

Digicam is not going to work on an in-service vehicle, it’ll have to be the X.

Splinter camo is comparatively easy but lots and LOTS and LOTS of small effing squares in a tidy pattern is a different kettle of fish …

Ok. I’m going to walk this back, I received five books today to review for the site, between them and the projects I have on the go, with shelf queens, I’m not going to find the time to do this over summer. Sorry to disappoint you, Robin.
