Woops
I am not into 1/72 scale or the object of the build but that does not mean I am not interested. In fact, with all the deluge of new 1/16 scale kits of armor and figures, the fact that you went in the opposite direction with 1/72 your work naturally caught my eye! I definitely like it, and its ironic that I joke with those modelers I know who are leaving 1/35 for 1/16, I like to jokingly claim that they must be getting older and no longer can see what they are doing in 1/35 scale, here you are showing your skills in what has to be done with tedious care and genuine craftsmanship! The weathering on the MAZ-537 trailer and tractor looks very nice and not overdone. In fact, the differences between the wheeled softskin, the heavy trailer and the T-72 are all appropriately done so that it appears differently and is executed in a very nice way. I have learned something looking at how you applied different weathering tones such as the heavy metal of the trailer showing the “cleaner” front tongue in a subtle comparison to the rear of the trailer. And you have done a great job showing how one “standard” color can look so different moving from soft skin to thick metal and then on to armor. I am very impressed!
