Just to add that Montgomery actually had 3 office trucks/caravans: the office one above, a map lorry (articulated), and a living quarters caravan.

I think this is very welcome from ICM, focussing as it does on an aspect of command and control, often overlooked by most. Vehicles and men don’t just miraculously appear on the battlefield, someone, somewhere has a plan and direct what they do(!)

On a personal note, I am almost tempted to get this kit, and depict the Field Marshal in the truck with his Staff Assistant - WO1 (SSM) Playforth RASC taking shorthand, not least as I’ve done just that so very often - not with Montogmery I hasten to add.
