Other than being an RFM kit, what does this bring to the market that is not already here?

Other company’s KTs do not earn RFM any money.

It looks good. The extra bits like workable track, metal barrel and individual skirts are nice to see and you could probably just get away with the standard version. Just need to see a price now …

Very reasonable…

Yep. A complete con. I want the FULL interior

not ‘engine’ then ‘transmission’ then ‘commanders seat’ then ‘ammunition’ then ‘radio operators station’ then ‘gunners sight’ then ‘commanders foot rest’

Trust me this is a complete scam.

At this rate we will get a full interior in 2 years time. Then they finally finally bring out the Porsche after releasing silly obscure versions

The last one I wished I’d never bothered - probably saw about 1 week of action and was then blown up by crew

He’s talking about what this KT brings to the market ie the modellers - not RFM. Trying to be smart but ending up not too smart

Huh? Greg can clarify his own meaning but I read his comment as “What does (RFM’s kit) bring to the market (of existing KTs by other manufacturers) that is not already here (i.e. available to modellers)?”

Dan’s witty riposte – (jeez do I really need to explain this?) that other KT kits don’t earn anything for RFM seemed to be understood perfectly well by 5 likers including myself. So - and remember you started it - who’s not too smart?

Seems you do lol … I was going to like Dans reply but forgot … :see_no_evil:

I just found the standard one for under £40 which I think is reasonable, with a metal barrel plus the other standard extras its worth it, and knowing RFM, it will have a bit more crisper detailing than some other older kits… will keep it on the interesting list as decent value.

I guess not me then surrounded by so many sagacious modellers. I read it the same ways as you. Man, do we really need to do some kind of IQ dance off?

I will try to give a useful reply rather than seal clapping humour lol. I too can be funny

The Meng kits with the interiors seem to be good competition and even the Takom kits so I really think these releases are just too late.

There will be an interior but the has been done to death already.

These kits don’t bring anything special to the game - the 3D parts are just eye candy serving no real purpose.

I would like to have seen RFM take a more innovative route

In summary - they have done interior/kits for the Pz 3/4/5/6/6b as well as Stug 3/4 and Puma.
I have all these kits so not a hater

I’m only talking about the WW2 German stuff but I admit their Leopard 2 was ground breaking. I just sold mine as I realise I’m not into modern era.

On the other hand RFM just bought out a T55 interior - something that has also already been well done by pretty much everyone
