1/25th scale Berge-Panther

I am jealous, your Berge looks better than mine. GREAT BUILD.

Thanks, but I am really curious about that sdkfz 263 you are building, looks great, just like your other scratchbuild creations. That trailer also looks very Nice. And working with wood is not my forte as well.

Looks great. Are those Lego parts?

Yes sir, I use anything and everything. I like to use spare parts from everything. I will go to the superstores, or evil-bay and just but stuff for parts. Since we are both graduates of my old friend Shep Paine. Gizmology, right! Which leads to a question for you, is your engine compartment going to be open? For me I do just enough so that if it’s open it “looks” the part, kinda like my 263’s engine

No, my engine compartment is not going to be open. But then again neither is the winch compartment, and i build that as well

I just want an engine in it, but that’s just me. I do not know if I ever will paint the model, I kinda like the look of a (partly) scratch build model without the paint, so one can see what was used to build it. Strange, I know, but that’s just me. And my painting skills are not really that high, probably trough a lack of (spare) time. So, I’m afraid I will only ruin my model.

Those last pictures, what Tank is that? Panzer 3? I do not recognise it. But I like what I see there.

You know there is something VERY COOL about an unfinished/painted build. I totally get it. I might do that on the Sdkfz 263, MAYBE

And that last picture is of the inside of my PzI

II ausf L. just enough details to keep the “model” experts at bay..

Here she is completed. Probably my favorite scratch-build project of all time

Wow, that looks really great. Love dthe diorama around it as well. What scale is it?

1/25th. I left the world of 1/35 behind in 1994

Thank you again for the compliment

I am sure you have this BUT

No, I do not have that one, I have the other one from Trojca

This one…..

From witch I enlarged a couple of pages to 172 percent. Works great to have good scale drawnings

Altough it must be said, do not trust them blindly ,verify, I would say.

These are Some of the other references I used.

But, when you really want to go into the nuts and bolts…

You really need these.:slightly_smiling_face:

MANY THANKS. I am sure you found the Panzer Tracks helpful, but coming up short for photographs.
I am going to look for Research squad right now
THANKS AGAIN
