Looks like a fun project, might try in the future.
I always wanted to scratch build or at least make details for a model kit.
Yeah, i have a 500 photo archive dedicated to only turkish vehicles lol.
Great. I stopped building the M60T because I havenĀ“t found suitable tracks and sprockets.
Iād love to see that project completed. It may prove impossible finding exactly the right track, but to me the tracks from the AS-90 or the PzH-2000 look the closest. The problem with each is the the rubber pads have notched cutouts on them, which could easily filled, especially since you donāt have to do all of them. Iām sure youāve probably raided your stash as well, so Iām guessing the width may not be correct. As for the pitch, thatās going to very hard to discern. You might have to scratch up new sprockets as well but with the sprockets obscured by the armor plates I donāt know if the juice would be worth the squeeze.
Yeah, they definitely are close to the tracks of the m60t, and as for the sprocket 3d printing is definitely an option. Even if you dont have a printer there are many places that will 3d print stuff for you.
The build is has a high priotity right now. I am still stuck with NVA vehicles.
