1/35 T-64 Bulat WIP

Alternating between Canadian and Ukrainian subjects. Been slowly chipping away at the Trumpter Bulat. Replaced the kit barrel with one from panzer art, which came damaged but decided to incorporate that into drone damage.

Initial paint and weathering is done onto the mud.

Looking good … a piece of cut up cam net could easily hide the flaw in the barrel if so desired …

Looks great. You sure get your money’s worth with Trumpys 72s and 64s.
My panzer art barrel was warped. I’ll go with ET Model in the future.

I just added it to the chipping and weathering work I did. Looks like shrapnel from a near miss with a drone or artillery shell.

Yes I think you have leaned into the barrel damage and made a nicely battered looking vehicle.

Got this one across the finish line after a while. Not super happy with the trumpeter tracks. The single links around the drive sprocket really didn’t want to play nicely.

Nice to see this weathered and finished Alex- the dirt and streaking suit that initial weathering you did.

thanks Karl! Was going for a summer dusty look to the vehicle. I have been trying to stay away from the heavy muddy look lately.

Beautiful job Alex, excellent finish. All the details on that thing really pop.
