The hull red is done, boot top next then horizontal color of Navy Blue 5N.

In all the pictures above my ships have no rails. I looked through my archived pictures and found one I forgot about that had photo etch rails, not string like the old 1/249 Revell Buckley. I wanted to do a Japanese destroyer years ago but the prices were high so I bought an Aoshima 1/700 Yukikaze 1945. It came out OK and I did buy a photo etch set but I never liked the way I did the rigging and to me it was way too small to show any detail. The rails were so so but I am sure I can do better than I did in 2011. I am looking at another 1/350 IJN destroyer, possibly the Yukikaze or Shikinami, I did the Amigiri but didn’t do the rails so I want to do another but this time right!
