test fit of the part painted figures, have to remove the steering wheel to get the driver figure in, that will be re fitted when I’m happy with the fit
watching sea of sand for some inspiration, in the movie the patrol come under observation by a German aircraft and one of them goes to uncover the AA machine gun mounted on one of the Trucks but is stopped by the CO who tells them to wave as he doffs an Africa Corps cap. The cover looks home made by the crew with a quick release strap, keeps the sand and dust out and ensures the guns are ready to use at short notice.

the model needed several areas improved with paint and small straps and so on,
a map and a camouflage net placed in the back.
