Anybody happen to have a spare June(?) / July / Aug (?) wing marking for a P-39? 1/1 scale, the circle was 30 inches.1/48, height is 0.9 inch, width is 1.6. Planning on a 363d FS P-39 from their stint a Tonopah AAF (or Santa Rosa or Oroville. Most photos I’ve seen show the aircraft with the red border but do no give date or location. Also, not sure of exact dates of relocations. Factor in conflicting info on the red outline… some sources say June/July others say July/ Aug. Arrrgah! Eduard kit has markings for 363d with blue outline (time at Oroville and Casper Wy.) One other marking option has the red border, but only one wing marking (lower wing has 42-43 circle.)
