Does anybody make 1/48 seated (in the aircraft) tropical aircrew? Find plenty (Tamiya , etc) of UK/ NWE (irvin jacket and such). Need crews for a couple Med. Beaus. Also (for another project) Anybody have a lead on 1/48 4 bladed Mosquito props. Found 2 on Scalemates. One by Paragon (who the hell are they?) One by Maestro. (Only one found is out of Cyprus … and they dont ship here anymore. )
I’m certain ICM released a set of tropical RAF figures. I’m not sure if they’re standing or seated though.
I’ll have to check. I know they do a bunch of sets but they all seem to standing around or sitting in a chair waiting for a scramble, petting the squadron dog… Tamiya has a set but they are all standing around. RAF guys look like a Lanc crew. Tamiya’s Mossies have decent crews but they have Irvin jackets for Northern Europe/ North Sea area. Planning 2 Beaus. 1 in North Africa (Egypt,Malta) , 1 SAAF in the Aegean.

They’re standing figures. Plus the obligatory erks casually leaning or looking at the tyres.
I could actually do with these at 1/72 to go with a couple of projects I have. Haven’t had much luck with tropical figures at that scale.
I wonder if there’s any 3D printed figures that might do the job for you?
All the ones I’ve seen are standing around too. SH!tload of Vietnam/modern ones sitting, but… Saw some crap ones out of China … wouldnt waste someone else money on them. Close up of faces, looked like the P -59 test pilot!!!

Oh I hope that is true! That would make a fun diorama!
But yeah some of the Chinese stuff I’ve seen is pretty awful. And likely poor quality recasts.

@sluff Found this, only one figure and on the expensive side. It is 1/32 so I don’t know if that would interfere, I included a review someone made on the figure if that would be of any help. Bottom link is purchase site
