In general I think the tarp looks good.
As you mentioned it’s post painting so pre painting on the next one would have probably helped to get it tighter to the fuselage.

You did a good job on this one. The white stars look a bit too solid though, so you might consider weathering them a little to break that up. That tarp looks almost too real, that’s a complement.

However, as stupid as this sounds, i wasn’t quite sure how to do this - so if you have a method you use and trust, i’d be only too glad to learn of it.

No, not the oils - i did dabble with the master b some years ago and didn’t get on with it. I suppose I could use pigments, which i normally use on AFVs?
