Took 2nd place in the 1/48th twin engine prop category at mosquitocon this past weekend. this is the revell kit. didn’t expect it to win anything so it feels good to have my work recognized.

yeah, better location then when it was in booton. i wish there were more contests close by, i really enjoy them and i like to stock up on supplies and tools. got a haul of model master enamel jars and a tamiya mig 15 i thinking of making for the korean war campaign here. unfortunatly i missed a deal on a couple kits i didn’t pull the trigger on quick enough like the monogram devastator and several eduard 109 overtrees for $15. i also bought a 2006 revell monte carlo stockcar kit and found out when i got home it is missing tires and hood. the hood is the problem but nnl east is a few weeks from now i hope to find one. i doubt it though.
