A checkpoint on a tramway line? Strange…Normally tramways are inside the city with no green around.

This "Big Set" is a good idea... but Miniart has mixed things up a bit here.
The concept should have been better thought out.
It is supposed to represent
the Demarcation Line in France (*Demarkationslinie*).
However, Miniart simply pulled items from various existing kits to create it, so the resulting scene isn't historically credible.
I had actually provided documentation on the Demarcation Line to Miniart—which is how they designed the sentry box and the "HALT!" sign.
So, regarding the box art presentation: you really need to select only the specific items required for the subject. Obviously, if you set up *everything* included in the box, the scene—while not technically historically incorrect—looks extremely odd.
As for the street and the tracks... having the Demarcation Line cut across a tramway line is strange. On the other hand, a small railway line—like the French "Tacot" (local light railway)—would be plausible.
It is a subject rarely covered in the world of military dioramas.
