Perhaps it’s time to revisit this thread for anyone who happened to miss it the first time around.
No matter which side of the fence youre on it’s a pretty good thread, and was also the genesis for the Great Ones campaign.
The Centurion with full interior I mentioned had a removable roof plate on the turret - a feature I copied from the 1/25 Centurion and would not do again. No point - it was unrealistic and had top have a stand underneath it. Of the three Centurions I brought to Japan that’s the one I decided to leave there.
That said, I have modeled several T-34’s and a T-55 with their top turret plates blown off from an internal explosion. Apparently this happened qute a bit with T-34’s. And you can realistically place it next to the destroyed tank.
I think my comment from last year still holds true: The Ukrainians are offering us plenty of opportunities to display Russian tanks with their innards exposed. Who knows? Maybe T-55’s are next.
