I’ve just realised, you’re building the Chevy that Xander is loaned by his drunken uncle in Buffy the Vampire Slayer “The Zeppo” (Series 3, Episode 13)…
Cheers,

The 57 Ragtop is getting close to the finish line. Decals are applied. Chrome trims are fitted and clear light parts in place. Last things to add are upper chrome trim on the tail fins, windscreen and quarter windows and license plate, then a clean-up of grubby fingerprints
Cheers, D
So close now I can taste it!
All of the trims and little extras are glued in place now, I just need to do a couple of small touch-ups on the chrome work (inconvenient sprue attachment points ) then clean off my grubby oily fingerprints . . . . .
Cheers, D
And done! Completed Build #8 for 2023 is in the cabinet
Definitely one of the better kit’s I have built in my old Chevy journey, no issues to speak of with fit, amll amount of flash in the usual places, minor mould seams on the body easily dealt with. Definitely recommended and would (probably will) have another go at this one at some stage.
Cheers, D
That is a sweet build Damian. The colours you laid are gorgeous… And a fantastic final sheen to it… Looks superb mate, and a great addition to the garage
Excellent build Damian, well done.
D,
Your '57 Chevy came out technically great, with a perfect Turquoise paint job, and certainly looks the part. Being a truly old timer ( just turned 76 ), I still remember riding in several '56-57 Chevys. Even my best friends parents had two of them with one being the very car you modeled.
And congrats for #8 across the finish line and into your display cabinet. To bad for me this year has only seen just 2 cars cross my finish line with a few in various stages of completion.

Beautiful job D - love the paint & trim !
Cheers- RT
Fantastic looking Chevy, D. Very well done. The turquoise & white is a great combination.
