A couple of NATO distractions

Thanks; a fair bit of work. A bit sad that I won’t use all the excellent interior provided for the M59, but that’s modelling life. The M75 - which I now know quite well, will also take a bit of fettling. At one time I had a plan to open up the rear doors and show a squad de-bussing, just to exemplify the whole APC concept, but that’s too much work these days. Trundling along a German street is much more like it(!)

Great beginnings, I’ll be following your progress.

Too bad, I was kind of hoping you would do something like this with it:

Hmmm - upon reflection, perhaps not(!)

Well, sorry to disappoint Dave, but I‘ll be dipping in and out of all three as and when I can; I have to complete my USAREUR M48A2 first, then complete my Dutch MBT-70 project, so any progress may be a bit sporadic.

That said, I feel these are important AFVs, and seldom seen on the display tables, at least at the shows I attend (UK mainly). Anyway, hopefully I can do them justice, even if involving short cuts with AFV Club tracks!

No worries at all. I’ve just gone thru the whole posting of your M48A2,

and that’s turned

into a real beauty of a build. The OD turned out fine after all!

I really shouldn’t do this - the M59 on the base for my M48A2:
