They look like standard M2A3s from that angle. What am I missing?

Exactly. When I first saw it, I thought it was a whitewash. In July? It was much whiter in the sun than it appears in the photo. And it came off easily on my finger - like powder. I resisted the temptation to put “baby feet” on it. But why just the one among dozens?

Broke down perhaps, just dopped it there off the towbar. Baby feet remined me of convoy numbers in Germany, I always add IM8UP to the Lt’s vehicle when I chalked it up.

Turns out to be caliche deposits most likely in Cowhouse Creek. My geologist daughter recognized it right away. I knew fron the mud it had to be something like that, but how it is the only one to escape the wash rack is still a mysyery.

That end connector is missing its bolt. Maybe suspension issues or track was off when they drug it in?
