Be intersting to see how the kit deals with the hydraulic piping.

Just a thought: if you end up having problems with the PVC (re the hydraulics), you might wish to consider lead wire/solder.

This will be the final post before priming and a coat of green!
The instructions called for the bottom boom and the bucket to be glued at the required height and tilt, now how do you know what they are? So I decided to fix the top ram first so to give a height and tilt, that’s when the fun started trying to get 5 pieces of resin together when they all want to go in any direction except the one you want was to say the least frustrating😡 anyway they went together eventually and the second and bottom rams went on in 5 mins flat🙄M

First one on and the parts for the other side

All on!
The bucket won’t be fixed till the painting is finished so until that’s done, that’s about it for now

Thanks for your comments and likes and I’ll see you later👍

Looks good.

It depends on how pernickerty you want to be, but the bucket level indicator is missing from the kit.

Here you are mate👍

Anything else you can spot welcome.

Was that bucket level indicator in the kit, or did you scratch it?

The non-slip on the dowty cowl isn’t right, the non-slip should actually be on the top of the rectangular linkage housing, mounting the cowl. The cowl itself was a definate ‘no tread’ area.

Thats my fault, as my previous description was misleading.

Sharp knife to the rescue, and I scratched the indicator

Nice work, sorry about the misleading information.

Ok we have some colour,MRP NATO green was used,if nobody has used this paint make sure you have primed your kit otherwise it will NOT go on!

Getting there now, bucket and washboard on with a cam net beneath it to fill the space.

Get the black on next and then the detailed painting.

Looks very good. Can’t be easy in resin.

No second chances mate😂when it’s stuck it’s stuck! If your lucky you can get a very sharp blade or a razor saw in to take the part off again ( like when you put the exhaust stack on back to front😉)

Now for the nitty gritty bits!

Looks good. Its a pity that a crew compartment interior isn’t provided with this kit (or maybe thats a blessing in resin) because this is one vehicle where the interior is very visible with open hatches.

Very nice paint job!

Ok this is very nearly done, hatches on a comd to be sourced from the spares box weathering and that’s it.

Not a lot in the way of markings etc BAOR vehicles were quite plain in that regard!
