I agree. The worst part is the lack of interior details. I bought Kitty Hawk MH-60L interior sprues of eBay to add to the Academy kit. I did the same on my UH-60A using both Academy and KH parts.

1/35 UH-60A Grenada (OP Urgent Fury) Build

I have started on another project I have wanted to do for a while. I am building an early UH-60A Black Hawk from Operation Urgent Fury, the US invasion of Grenada in Oct 1983. This was the first combat action the Black Hawk helicopter had seen, its baptism by fire.
