I’m finally getting back in the groove. It’s a small vignette, but took me seemingly forever. I guess old house, two year old granddaughter and my getting older have slowed down my production somewhat, but that’s neither here nor there…My latest (tentatively called “Respite”)
Nicely done.

I think ‘Respite’ is a good name for the scene. A little snapshot of a quiet lull- perhaps after an intense bit of action. Just slumped down in a quiet area to take a few minutes. I think the poses and faces sell this idea well- they look fatigued and the lack of any equipment like a stove or rations kind of emphasises it’s just a snatched few minutes when possible. I like your ground and brickwork too- plenty of color with a pleasingly ‘industrial’ feel- like a factory courtyard.
Charles that is lovely work! It’s all excellent but that brickwork is particularly nicely done with spot on weathering! I can only aspire!
Thanks heaps for sharing!
Very evocative scene. That immediately jumps out as 2 guys, beaten down, exhausted, almost ready to drop … sometimes you dont need to say anything to your opo… you just sit there in silence … very nicely done Charles.
Outstanding job on that vignette! The brick building looks fantastic and the figures are very well done!
Nice work all around. ![]()
Which brand are those figures?
Very great touch on every elements and details, especially the wall, figures’ faces, scenery, and the equipment. Welcome back, Sir. I also still in “hibernate” mode from any builds, and currently doing redocumentation of my lost thread post from the old Armorama website. Once again, many thanks for sharing such cool vignette.
Best regards,
Garry
