The big box has arrived!
Yes Dan !
I still a lot to add ( front, rear and sides too.. ) , build the other 3 fenders, wheels… I will add the big antennas at the end.. I hope to get it done this June. Let’s see how that goes ![]()
Fenders are 99% done… still missing the small PE parts
I see the instructions call to paint the tools in steel. The Germans used a dark gray/black protective lacquer to prevent corrosion and inhibit reflecting light and acting like a signal mirror; you don’t want silvery surfaces ruining your attempts at camouflage. Use steel to represent where that lacquer has chipped away from use.
Ok ! Thanks for the info and tip !
I’ll do that !
I would have added the fenders to the hull, then add the equipment. Great work.
Now that I think of it… it would make more sense… I’m going to break something for sure…

Great progress, Nito! ![]()
The fit and alignment look excellent, especially considering how tricky this stage can be. It’s wonderful to see you taking the time to properly refine the base — it always pays off in the later stages.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the painting and weathering. Keep it up! ![]()
Many wheels!
I will the other two tomorrow
Not a pretty vehicle, but your kit looks great.
Thank you Dan !!
Still a few more things to add before painting, decals,etc..
