AK Real Colour formula change

Has anyone else noticed a difference with the new AK Real Colors dropper bottle line compared to the older paint pot version?

The old paint pot Rubber Black was an exact match to the AK markers, but the new dropper bottle version seems noticeably lighter. Curious if anyone else has run into this or if it’s just my bottle.

I haven’t seen a change so far, but I have very few dropper bottles. I stocked up on the glass bottles during the changeover. I hope sincerely that they didn’t change a thing because the paint was the perfect product the way it was. My favorite, default paint line.

I can’t say on that particular color. But I will say on the AK Olive Drab No.9 do not match between their 3d Gen Acrylic, glass jar Real Color, and Real Color Marker… each one is different with the marker being distinctly lighter. Even lighter than the Real Color Faded Olive Drab. It is what it is.

Another example of the same color being different in two forms from the same manufacturer.

Below are the Acrylic and Enamel of the exact same Helo Drab Green (FS 34031) from the Testors Model Master line. I know they are now discontinued, but I stocked up on them before they were gone. The MedEvac is in the acrylic version, and the slick-60 is in enamel.

Found another pair of their colors that don’t match between the paint markers and glass jar Real Colors, Dunkelgelb RAL 7028. The paint marker version is noticeably lighter compared to the lacquer paint. I used the paint on this project as an overall color, but the paint marker on the little disc part on the front and on the antenna mount. You can see the difference here
