Fellow armor modelers and enthusiasts,
We are less than 30 days away from the largest armor modeling show convention in North America this year. While many of us are probably touching up our entries and checking our shopping lists of kits, aftermarket items and painting supplies we need to pick up at the show, some of us are just getting our projects to the paint booth. So, if you are in the latter group, well…get a move on here; you don’t want to miss out on the show we’ve all been waiting for since 2019. And while you are finishing up, don’t forget:
You can still make hotel reservations on-line by visiting the AMPS homepage (amps-armor.org) and using the hotel reservation link. Don’t forget to advise them you are with the AMPS International group block to get the AMPS show room discount. Rooms are starting to fill up, so don’t be left without room accommodations.
Pre-registration on the AMPS homepage is still open and is a great way to get all your paperwork done before the show and in the comfort of your own surroundings. You really don’t want to be sitting at a table in the corner filling out registration forms while everyone is dropping off their entries to the ramrod and walking into the show.
While you are on the AMPS homepage, consider signing up for a judging shift or two; we can really use the help in judging. Two shifts gets you a free AMPS Crew tee shirt. Check out the AMPS judging modules on the homepage that will tell you all you need to know about being an AMPS judge.
NOTE: When we completed the table layout for the vendor room, we found space for a few additional vendor tables. For those individuals who were on the fence about renting a table at the largest gathering of armor modelers in North America this year, don’t pass up your chance.
