Aussie SEPv3 Abrams question

G’day all

My partner found a part from my RFM SEPv3 kit (D24 specifically), that I thought I had hidden , on the floor on the weekend, & thinking it was nothing, destroyed it & binned it. So several defensive strategies come to mind:

How easy is it to get replacement parts from RFM?

Does anyone have that part per chance from their BRE, that they no longer want/need?

Do our Abrams have the BRE fitted?

Best a/m BRE available?

Thanks all

In terms of aftermarket BREs, your options are either tricky-to-build photoetch ones

From Eduard: M1A1 Bustle Rack Extension, Eduard 35598 (2003)
ET Model: Modern US Army M1A1/A2 Bustle Rack Extension, E.T. Model EA35-042 (200*)
Voyager: M1A1/ M1A2 Abrams Stowage bin/baskets/CIP (TAMIYA 35269), Voyager Model PEA274 (2011)

Or an easier to build 3D/etch one from Orange Hobby 1/35 M1A2 Abrams Foldable Bustle Rack Extension (BRE) for Tamiya #35269/35326 Orange Hobby G35-243

But the Orange Hobby rack is folded

Unless I’m mistaken, the ET model bustle rack extension is a non-standard unit fabricated type.

You get two racks in that set. The standard BRE is included too.

ET Model EA35042 1/35 Modern US Army M1A1/A2 Bustle Rack Extension is the one I recommend.
