Very cool. Thanks for posting. By the way, does anyone know of some aftermarket large intakes as seen in the photo, in 1/48? (or a kit I can bogart them from?)

Memorial Day a bunch of years ago the local air museum had a B-17 and B-24 available for walk through. Seeing them up close like that I was impressed how much smaller they were than I thought. Walking through showed how tight the quarters really were. Size-wise I’d have been pretty much average for WW2 crew members. The catwalk in the bomb bay was a tight fit… and I was not wearing a jacket, let alone a bulky shearling flight suit. That goes double for the tunnel to the bombardier position in the nose.
One day I hope to do the same in a B-25.
