Yeah, a section of trench would be great. The Bandai X-wing actually comes with the exhaust port tile.

The OT x-wing with its base coat. Exactly the same process as the y-wing.
Still deciding on schemes, but pretty sure going with the light blue canopy and details on the y-wing, with either red or yellow markings. Will do the light blue next, same as I used on the b-wing a few years ago. The x-wing may become blue leader…

Ok, so gone for OT scheme on the Y-wing. AK RC235 intermediate blue, lightened with the base colour, and Tamiya LP-80 flat yellow. May tone down the yellow with an overspray of heavily diluted insignia white.
