A desert Maus? That’s about the size of battlefield you need for such a beast!
If you are serious about the sand shields I might have some left-over from a Crusader kit you could have…

Not for me Tom - I’ve far too much going on as it is; mind you, it would make a nice change, but I’ll have to find some self-discipline from somewhere.
Let me know where you get that self-discipline from, as I could use a bag or two myself…
According to the Wikipedia, 4,016 Cromwells were produced. Am I missing something?
You’ve probably missed the British Zimmerit bit.
No. No. Liked the post 4 days ago. Forgot. That is my world.
So far, so good - except the sprocket goes at the rear!
Thank you, Tom!
I obviously needed this break from building panzers! At least I didn’t paint it Tropen 1 or 2.
But you’re still putting zimmerit on it…
Maybe you need to build another Sherman!
He would just end up building a Sherman with zimmerit,
Matt, I think you’re on the mark!
All joking aside, I can’t believe I did that. What a start to the New Year.
All American AFV on the workbench next Sherman, Pershing, Patton, Bradley or Abrams after this Cromwell.
@Damraska …you know me too well! You’ve broken Ultra, time for me to mix it up again!
I have my Takom SMK from part 2, no recent pics but did spray the tracks Tamiya dark iron yesterday. So some progress.
My T30 heavy tank has sat in a box with all the airbrush work done and decals applied for about 4 months. It looks at me longingly. “Why don’t you finish me???” Poor, poor T30.
Ryan & Doug, sounds like these need to get over the line!
I am trying Tom.
Sprayed some Mr Surfacer Black primer today.
Yesterday’s dark iron work.
Now to find a 4BO or whatever color this was
In my Tamiya/Vallejo collection.
It’s on the list!
Is that a 32 number on the turret side?
I was gonna say something about a pic I saw of a Sherman in zimmerit…
