A while back I saw a decal set on Scalemates in the 1/48 Bf-109 “related” section for a Russian based F-4 Trop. Scheme was factory RLM 79/78 paint, over painted RLM 70/ 75 “splinter” as was common in Russia. The spine and upper wings (?)/ horizontal tail (?) were white washed. Something akin to the photo . Do not remember the maker … was not Superscale,Illiad, or one of the big names. Dont know what JG (JG-3?) or markings. Just remember the white wash did not extend down the sides or forward of the wind screen. Think it might have been involved at Stalingrad. Anybody have any ideas?
Why buy a decal set for that when you can do it very convincingly by hand and a brush?
