@Lakota Don, it is a very nice kit. The details are obviously lacking as can be expected from a kit of this age. But the fit is very nice. It falls together. A few hours and the main assemblies are done.
Next is some light sanding and cockpit painting.

First, welcome to the new guys signing up for the build. Some great choices being made by you all, especially on the ‘Oldies’.
Love the final result on the Ferret Erik. The actual unit in Cyprus was 5th Troop, The Parachute Squadron Royal Armoured Corps, but it is often incorrectly published as 5th Airborne Brigade or 5th Parachute Brigade. One of those things that gets picked up and repeated… The beret was likely UN Blue too… but hey, I agree the maroon looks good:

Some work over the disastrous engine cover
Each track is made up of 120 + 120 links.
And after several days of work, this is the result:
And at that moment I realized a detail: Some distracted worker at Bronco put the wrong decals in my kit.
My kit is 35027, a Mk. IV.
All in all, it’s clear that Bronco hates me.
For now, I’ll keep assembling the model. I’ll decide later what to do about the decals.

I would like to join in with this Orion Drone from ARMA models. It is fully 3D printed and I have never built a kit produced in this medium before, so this seems like a very good reason to move it onto the bench and have at it.

My plan is to do it in as accurate a fashion as possible based on what we currently know, considering we have no skin impressions that retained any pigmentation material AFAIK. I will be using my knowledge of animal adaptation in particular biomes and align it with similar animals in the modern era. I also happen to have a coworker in my science department who is nuts about dinosaurs and actually writes young adult fiction featuring dinosaurs to get reference material from. I have all the other Tamiya kits to do after this one.
While I would prefer to avoid the standard big gray animal like elephants, rhinos, and hippos tend to be I have to respect the natural process.

I’ll be joining with Revell’s version of the Monogram F-102!
I did seem to pick up a Master’s pitot tube along the long wait to start this, aside from that I plan an out of the box build. Should be fun if the F-106 was any indication!
