Looks good, what colors are you using? Good luck with the rest of the construction.
Thanks !!
For the exterior, I’ll be using Tamyia TS-28 Olive Drab 2
The interior… it isn’t accurate, they have no color sheet, so it’s a sort of artistic license… I used Tamyia AS-25 Dark Ghost Grey as a base, then Matt black, nato green, white for some of the boxes, equipment, pipes, etc… Added a couple of filters, washes and pigments too for the interior weathering.
Today, I worked a little more, adding plastic and PE parts to the exterior.
Still a few more steps before it’s ready for Primer / Paint.
don’t know how i missed this but I’m following it now!
Don’t worry… the interior really took a long time to get sorted.
I hope it will pay off with all the hatches opened.
After 3 painting sessions I managed to get the decals on
A few days I started the weathering… and I messed up everything…
I noticed I missed 4 suspension parts.
While adding them, 2 wheel hubs broke, making it very hard to fix the wheels back in the correct position.
As you can see by the photos… one wheel on each side is messed up.
Despite that, I really enjoyed the kit. I will have to sort some type of base with mud and tall grass to hide my own errors… anyway… these things happen… moving on, I still have more than 150 kits in my stash to build.
From the interior to the exterior every thing looks great.
