I just broke of both tail guns and one tail stabiliser removing the last of the oil wash, so I could use until Sunday as well if possible.

A couple of weeks should see the outstanding bits done, I had lost the print I knew I had for a 9ft range finder, found that this morning. If SWMBO leaves me to it for a couple of days I should be able to call it complete

I am calling my matchbox Me 410 B-3 done. A beautiful little kit. Even for a matchbox kit the interior was simple - just two large couch size seats. Luckily the glazing is so thick one can hardly see through it
I messed up the weathering since the clear varnish had not covered evenly across the wings and fuselage. This meant the oil “stuck deeper” some places than others. That in itself gave a nice weathering effect, but overdue for these relatively clean aircraft.
Well, overall it was still a pleasant build. Despite fumbling the end game a bit.

I am close to being done with my '67 Beetle. I had to touchup the engine lid and need to shoot another layer of gloss over everything then buff that down but that’s basically it and sticking the little bits on and she’ll be done.

That came out really nice. I know you said the cockpit was minimal but from these photos it is good enough considering it’s a bit small and cramped in there.
I bought the Hph kit of this plane in 1/32 but I need a bit more practice working with resin before I tackle it. I always thought the gun barbettes were a neat feature; gave it a futuristic look like the B-29 bomber.
