Added more bits of plastic, metal and straps… just tools, mirrors, clear bits and wheelhubs with tyres left to add, so as such I think this one is ready for the paintshop..

That Revell kit is quite good, loads of extra parts for making a few different versions, just very bad on instructions as to which parts for which version…

Watching in awe at how fast and impressive the builds are thus far! I’ll post some updates soon with current focus on the figures, weapons and equipment.
Question for the brains trust. What is the consensus regarding the items in the zoomed in photo? Original photo first for an overview then the second photo is the zoomed in bit which is towards the mid right hand side of the original photo.
It looks like bullets and some look do look like full rounds but others look like spent bullet casings whilst others look longer and I’m not sure what they are. Sticks? If rounds, would these possibly be faulty rounds? I can’t think they’d dump rounds on the dirt before loading into a magazine. If these are faulty rounds, then why the spent casings? Appreciate any views ahead of me getting to that point in replication.

It looks to me like a mix of “long” rounds - some could be .303, others maybe .50cal or even 20mm. Some look complete, others possibly spent. But there are things in the pile that don’t look like rounds at all. The complete rounds could be duds, or “leftovers” from a loading episode, or ones that were dropped and forgotten in the haste of battle? Without knowing the history of the trench there could be lots of explanations. (Was it a position they dug out and occupied solely, or one they took over from a former occupant, whose trash they found and dumped?)

Yeah, concur with Tom, looks like loads of discarded ammo, used and live. Live rounds may well be just rounds that are faulty, misfires, damaged etc …

Now … the Universal Carrier is done …it’s T90 time … let’s get onto it …
Started on the turret now as there was an issue with the kit tracks … They are crap and fragile lol… replacement workable ones ordered.
I genuinely don’t know why they bothered including a jig to assemble the kit ones… anyhoo… just waiting on the new ones now.
The turret has a few issues. The fancy bendable soft rubber mantlet doesn’t fit well, so that needs a bit of work with trimming, and once set, it will need some filler on the rear upper where there’s a slight gap. Same as on the LH side of it.
Turret bottom plate will also need so filler and sanding to get it all smooth .

Still waiting on tracks, so more building up on the turret… and applied the filler around the rubber mantlet …
Still quite a bit to add as the 90’s have a pretty busy turret … not that it seems to do them much good in the Ukraine lol.

All the bits added that take me up to stage 19 on the destructions …
Still a lot of turret parts to do and a lot of small parts. Biggest pain is the clean up on the parts, but it’s getting there.
