I’m always amazed anyone has the time or patience for these ridiculously complicated ‘workable tracks’, even more intrigued why people subject themselves to this kind of pain through choice as an AM set.

The first thing I do when I get a kit is can the track link sprues and reach for the Friul or Quick Tracks catalogue.

Some of those tracks are just awful (looking at you, Abrams X), but I have no problem putting the RFM ones together. I just need good music and a little alcohol and time to just let my mind wander about aimlessly. Once I’m in a groove, the RFM tracks practically fall together.
