Building a VISMOD - Swiss style

An interest how-to video of converting a Panzerjäger G13 into a “Soviet” tank.

The most important part was the barbecue.:slightly_smiling_face:

Wow! Some melloow jazz-like music to enjoy while watching old post-war Hetzers into some sort of soviet tank.

And the lack of respirators and protective clothing, while painting with most likely, lead-based paint. And the grilling on the side. That’s a level of “IDGAF” that’s epic.

Takom has a Panzerjäger G13 kit. So this will end up on my bench.

Interesting, I do have a G.13 on my wish list of Cold War vehicles.

I suppose if you squint really really hard it does look a bit like an Su-154-54.

Exactly my thought….:slightly_smiling_face:

I think about getting two Takom kits, Build one as regular tank and one as VISMOD. I had a close encounter with a G13 some years ago.

Saumur has one too disguised as a Hetzer.

I built one with MR Modellbau conversion years ago. I’m sure Takom is the way to go.

So does Ft Benning.

The Takom is a great looking little kit, it’s been a real struggle not to make a start on it before I finish the 5 on the bench and 100+/- out in the shed of shame.

The man using a angle grinder with just his reading glasses for protection is peak IDGAF , obviously never had a hot flake of metal in his eye before.
