Building an accurate M163

Thank you for that very gracious offer with regards the M901 ITV. Everything required is around but, as usual, I am trying to stretch my procurement dollars as far as possible. I will definitely seek your advice once all necessary materials are assembled.

Back in 2021, Denimo built an M901 ITV with help from you and other forum members.

While looking for information on the M163 and M901, I discovered two more fun M113 variants. Old news for all of you. New (or long forgotten) for me.

Norwegian NM142 / Canadian M113A2 TUA

Canadian M113A2 ADATS

As the veterans here surely know, Legends makes conversions for both vehicles.

Now, an Academy M163 VADS question:

The Academy model of this vehicle uses vinyl to represent ammunition belts for the Vulcan cannon and something else. (The purpose of the second ammunition belt is currently a mystery to me. Perhaps it feeds a coaxial machine gun?) Is there a cheap way to replace the vinyl ammunition belts with something plastic? My spares box may contain short ammunition belts from a German 20mm Flak. Would something like that work since they are the same diameter?

Does anyone besides Hobby Fan make a 1/35 M167A1 Vulcan Air Defense System?
