The Verlinden conversion turns up from time-to-time on Ebay for the M901. What opinions are there for this? The ITV is a favorite of mine, did a crack at the Italeri kit, would like to do it again with some other materials…

Save your money. The Verlinden M901 kit is barely better than the horrible Italeri kit. It has a mold plug on the turret that you need a hacksaw to remove. A MUCH better ITV conversion is made by Perfect Scale Modellbau. Try to find that one.
With regards the M901, I am still going by Matt’s advice in Post 3 of this discussion.
The necessary components for an M901 have not crossed my path at a reasonable price so I am building other things for now.
Roger, roger. I see BNAworld carries the line, but the ITV is out of stock. But it looks reasonably priced. Also, availability on Ebay, so I setup a recurring search…

Another option for an M901 ITV would be to graft the turret off of the new AFV Club YPR-765 PRAT vehicle onto the Italeri M901 or Academy M981. That turret is the best Emerson TOW turret that I have seen yet in injection plastic complete with sights, missile cases, rails, etc.
Of course you will need a good old M60 MG to replace the FN MAG.
