An option, plastic or metal spring.

Think I’ll go with the plastic spring as the inner rod doesn’t connect to the top and bottom.

I liked the look of the metal spring but then again I don’t have this kit to know the whole setup. The plastic spring looks good as well with careful painting and weathering it will look perfect.

The Mk.4 has a shaft in the center, but the design is considerably different so, I’m not much help am I?

It’s helpful, it seems odd that there would be a inner top and lower piece. I thought the inner piece would be a one piece rod.

Some of the suspension units are done. I’m surprised to see this type of system on a modern AFV.

Working on this today and have mounted the upper shock mounts.
