This has been on my bucket list for a while so I am along for this build. What was the time frame for the use of this monster?

The following Pics. show how I made the Track adjustable , otherwise it’s too slack. This way you can adjust it to your taste.

Donald I love the work to make the track tensioner “live”. Do your recall as this was awhile back and thinking out loud, could you not just remove a track link to make the track less slack?

Thinking back I don’t think that was an option as the track would be too tight.
This was quite a while ago and my memory doesn’t work all the time.
Looking at the kit parts I think they molded the Track Mounts in the full closed position, that doesn’t look quite right.

I’m currently re-posting all of my previous builds there’s a lot of them.
I look at this as my legacy , for when I’m gone no one else will ever remember that I was here.
I thank you all for reading and watching . I hope and wish my efforts help at least in some small way

I always wished Meng would do a civy version .
Or at least some aftermarket folks provide the conversion

This guy built one using 3D printed parts a few years ago on the old AutoModeler (auto side of Armorama). He says he got the parts from www.firecatdesigns.com, but the website doesn’t seem to work anymore.

Thanks Gino - too bad ( for me ) about the parts not being available.

Excellent idea to repost this blog. Thank you for taking the time to do so. I think I downloaded most of it last time but on my old computer. Now it’s right here in front of me again but on my new computer
