The steps are really clear. I can see a lot of great detail in your build.
That is what I am trying to do, this is a very complicated kit,
The only thing that I think they could have added is individual Lug Nuts for the Road Wheels.
I should look, Maby they did and I haven’t noticed.

That is an excellent collection.
Your build is lookin great.
Well I finished most of the front end.
Tomorrow I plan on working on the Engine Deck.
Good Night for now.

Lots of parts for sure but you are building it so well… Looks amazing so far.
Your build has inspired me to take on this kit.I told myself not to buy any more models but this seems pretty much the ultimate Leo 2 , short of getting a 1/1.
That’s for Shure

Just a little more showing the Tool Placement.
The second pic. shows the stack, you will have to place them in a certain order to get them to fit easily.
Some more is finished.
I believe thats the drivers reversing camera and the cover is electronically operated from his cab.
Superb work Donald.
Very nice work indeed, Donald. Thanks for sharing.
I just noticed a minor detail oversight by Das-Werk, which is depicted more accurately in 1/35 offerings by Border or RFM.
There should be star pattern frames (8 lines at 40 degree angles) below the mesh.
The mesh itself should be finer than the photo etch kit part and should have a bit more depth. Of course, I am nit-picking:

What they look like in reality:

AFV Modeller just came out with a 3D printed improvement to address this:
The star pattern wouldn’t be too difficult to correct, but they also missed the fact that the exterior frame covers the six perimeter bolts. That’s a bit more difficult to fix, always a challenge (even with the new circle cutters offered by Dspiae and the like) to cut perfect donuts out of plasticard, let alone two identical ones. Alternatively, I suppose it wouldn’t be difficult to 3D print a ring, but it needs to be pretty thin.
I have seen this too, but adding another 35 Pounds/ British money to a $200 Plus kit is cost prohibitive. Most of it is covered by the rear of the turret anyway.
It would be great if some of these companies could and would send me parts that I could feature in my builds.
You have to remember all the costs for the Kits and parts come out of my pockets.
This would be good advertising for them, but I know it isn’t going to happen.

I agree.
To get a perfect ring shape out of plastic card, I’d use a good old metal compass:
For me, Dspiae circle cutter just did not cut it. It was the only useless Dspiae tool I have. Other Dspiae tools have been wonderful - mini sander, mini drill, nipper.
Donald’s progress might have advanced too far to make the changes to the engine grills however.
Cost will always factor into it, and to be fair, your build is just great without it, you are doing some great work with it and looks superb
