I think green will look good.
If you are going for accuracy, note that there are no solid green A7Vs, the schemes shown in Das Werk’s instructions are fictitious. All Leopard 2A7V are painted in the standard 3-color camouflage and the patterns are identical since they are factory painted.
There’s one in the Camo section of the Instructions for a potential Canadian Leopard.
I think that I am leaning that way/
I had a 1/16th. Leopard 2A6 ordered from Squadron Shop, but was notified that they didn’t get it .

Hey maby I should have just painted it Pink. then I would have a pink Panther.
I have seen quite a while ago that someone in Europe had a Pink Panther with a plow , and he used it for plowing snow. I’m probably mistaken as my memory isn’t as good as it use to be.
I think some of the demonstrator vehicles are green, the Singaporean ones are , although that is probably a shorter barrel Leo.
Personally I would paint it what ever colour/s it might look best in.
I think there was a T55 or T72 like that.I can’t imagine anyone could afford to paint a real Panther pink and plough snow with it.
B.T.W. Spanish Leopards are green.
There was a demonstration vehicle in NATO green only, so it is feasible to have a single color vehicle.
There is also this one displayed at DEFEA 2023
Eurosatory 2022
There is also this one that was used for a display for a possible colaboration with Israeli companies (could be mistaken)
I suppose I should have been clearer in my statement - there are no Leopard 2A7Vs in Bundeswehr service as depicted in the Das Werk kit that are solid green, and the Bundeswehr is the only operator of the 2A7V variant. Yes, other nations have 2A7s but all are slightly different and the “V” variant is specific to Germany.
Yes, there have been solid green ones, but as you have clearly shown, they are demonstrator or display versions. The first and third photos are Leopard 2A8s with Trophy system so those are not depicted by the Das Werk kit. The second photo is a 2A7 but it has a number of technology demonstrator features that are not present on the 2A7V in service with the Bundeswehr (and as depicted in the Das Werk kit) so a number of changes would be needed to the kit.
It’s OK I started painting the German Camo. this morning by brush There are too many Nooks and Crannies for me to air brush it.
I’ll try to do my best and see where it goes.
There is always Winter White Snow Camo.

I installed the Tow Cables.
I think that the Cables supplied with the kit are way too big in diameter and don’t fit in the Retainer brackets.
I used the 1.5mm. Cables shown. If you roll them on a hard surface as shown it will straighten them out and then you can bend them to suite.
I made the cable part 25cm. long because all I had was a 50cm. length of cable.
Ideally 26 t028 may be better, but this is what I had.
I am in the process of finish painting and detailing.
I hope to have it finished in the next few days.

Thanks for the tip on how to straighten the cable. I’ll try that on the next build.
Keep on building!
Rick
This only works on the stiff Cables , the ones that come in the kits are usually too flexible like pieces of string.
The ones from the company hold their shape , but need straitening,
Too bad some company doesn’t make the cables from twisted Lead or some other grey metal.
Copper is very hard to paint, Led wouldn’t need any painting at all.

Why not use the real deal: steel wire cables. Pushbike gear shift ones are 0.8mm, brake cables 1mm diameter, perfect for 1/35, 1/32. Once they’re annealed (think BBQ grill) they have the right color and keep whatever bend you give them. Plus you can get them for the asking as scrap at the bike repair shop. For 1/16 scale, you might have to ask for motorbike cables …
