One of the beauties of scale modeling is being able to share what we know with others. So with that being said I have given thought to starting a thread titled C.B.'s tips and tricks.
Many of us use a chopper and all have the frustration of not getting a square cut consistently.
The solution is to shim the blade on the bottom inside edge with a .05 strip of styrene .
Remove the blade and place a .05 strip between the blade and the inside edge of the blade mount and you are ready to go.
Also make sure to keep light pressure on the piece to be cut.
