I believe I’ll stick with the 25-year old Hasegawa kit with the more in-scale panel lines. I love Airfix engineering but the heavy Corgi-like panel lines and soft plastic are just too much – not to 2021 standards.

I’m not sure who Airfix is trying to appease with this level of detail of their recent kits. Obviously there is a market for this but it’s just not for me.
