The theme of this vignette is that the little boy seen through the window, is sad. This is because, he cannot go out to play as he sees opposition fighters passing by, outside his window. It’s a bit of a turmoil outside at the moment.
Powerful and sad. Lots of action and emotion on a few cm2. Very well done, Charles!
A very big story told in a very small space! Great job!
That’s great work
Nice scene, and you know it’s played out a thousand times for real in conflicts around the world …
Sure tells the story you want to tell !!!
My thanks Ron.
Gald you approve of it, Toms.
Many thanks Dan.
Most certainly Johnny. Conflicts of the times that were and still is.
Humble thanks Wilt.
That’s a very inventive scene. I like small scenes like this that tell a story- it’s not an easy thing to do and you have shown through excellent staging just how it should be done.
Thank you Karl. I appreciate it.
Looks great.
Did you repurpose the figures from another diorama of yours?
Extremely well done, Charles. Personally, I’ve always favored smaller vignettes that tell a story over large dioramas that are just an excuse to show a lot of vehicles. This is tops!
Yes I did. I wasn’t completely satisfied with the old version.
Thanks. Like the photo. Thank you.
Fantastic !
Awesome! Great scene and the eye contact of the child and adult is perfectly executed. War…peace…
I really like how you used bright colors for the clothes on the figures as the eye is drawn to the figures first. All the colors seem to mesh well and it’s nice to see a scene that doesn’t use the same basic military color shades of green, brown, tan, sand, and olive.
Thank you.
