CEC YT-1300 Millennium Falcon by Bandai

Thanks, Johnny, for the nice comment.
That’s true. I’m so glad everything worked out without breaking anything.

Brilliant news, and so well deserved. Now, I know you are busy with floating things, but when and with what do you think you will return to a galaxy far far away…?

Thank you very much, too.

Well, for now, I’m busy with my ships again.
What I still have in my stash, though, is this one…

Maybe the force will come over me again.

Maybe not at “Light Speed,” but I had faith she would make the round-trip. Congrats for a well deserved medal! :1st_place_medal:

Congratulations, the award is well deserved. Glad the transportation part was a success as well.

i have the Revell version, I’m wandering if it’s the same kit as bandai and revell did some cross overs eith some of their kits.

It’s so nice of you all to send me your congratulations. Thank you very much.

I know Bandai is distributed through Revell. Which Revell kit are you referring to exactly?
This one?!

i was talking about the imperial star destroyer that you showed in one of your pictures.

Okay, my mistake.
I didn’t look properly. I can say that, apart from the destroyer, they have nothing to do with each other. Completely different scales. Bandai is 1:5000, and Revell is almost twice as big at 1:2700. And despite the enormous size, Revell has much less detail than Bandai’s.

The revell 1/2700 star destroyer is a rebox of the Zvesda model.

Would love to see your take on the star destroyer, just need to 3d print a 1/5000 falcon to place on it as in the classic ESB scene! Also reckon you could really do justice to a 1/72nd Slave 1.

Good morning, Jim.
With today’s 3D printing, it would be no problem at all to print a falcon at that scale, where you could still see Chewie’s wet dog nose.

The Slave would really be something, too. I think… but I also had this to offer.

So many models in my stash, I would have to live to be 240 years old to build them all.

Hello dear friends of the fastest scrap metal mill in the galaxy.
The crumpled sheet I used to photograph my model wasn’t that great.
So I used Photoshop to isolate the falcon and give it a decent background.

That’s what I call a galaxy, far far away.

May the force be with you. :index_pointing_at_the_viewer:
