"Clay" Chechnya 1995 is a fantastic diorama from modeller Sergey Traviansky a stunning piece of work First Russian-Chechen war, was a war of independence that the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria waged against the Russian Federation from December 1994 to August 1996. The first war was preceded by the Russian Intervention in Ichkeria, in which Russia tried covertly to overthrow the Ichkerian government.

Great model and diorama!
Just one question: who makes those Russian figures (manufacturer)? they look great and I have been looking for some of them here in the US with no luck.

I’m not sure but I think they’re from Evolution Miniatures.

This is a nice little vignette even the KIA soldier’s hand seems to have that purplish pall to it . . . . I just wish modelers would try to get on eye-level with the subject rather than all their shots taken from above or from a high angle, the figures appear to be painted very nicely but I can’t tell from the angle. Still gets a thumbs up though for the the build.

Yes good point. Some lower angled shots and closer shots too would be nice .
