Ah- fantastic news- thanks for posting this Michael. I am so glad they are keeping up with these releases!
They also announced a Tesla Trooper in 1/12 scale recently.
I was really hoping they would do some 1/35 scale figs to go with the tanks- maybe eventually!

Why do the “Tesla Troopers” wear red hammer & sickles? Is Musk secretly planning with Putin? Is Musk going to go over to the other side and start his own country?

‘Tesla’ here has nothing to do with the car company. Its from the Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 video game. It refers to ‘Tesla Coils’ which were a weapon from the Soviet tech tree in the game- an electro-magnetic weapon that charged up and shot bolts of electricity at enemies- the Tesla tank and trooper were the mobile versions. There was also the Tesla Coil itself which was a defensive tower- the things the troopers are standing next to in the box-art. They could draw power from them to increase their firepower or power them up if the coils ran out of power.
I love that its based on a T-90 chassis hahahaha
I think it looks more like the BMPT Terminator on the bottom- but def reminiscent of T-72/90 family. So far all of the vehicles from the series have bits and pieces inspired by actual tanks- it appears this new one is no different.

These corner weapons hint at inspiration from the Terminator (which uses T90/T72 chassis)

This has got me very happy I am a huge Command & Conquer fan and I really want the Overlord Tank from the C and C Generals game to be made its going to be Huge. Maybe One of the Mods could help me out and change this topic into a Command & Conquer thread.

Yes!!! Definitely getting both! I could be wrong about this but another c&c vehicle that’s under the radar is the 9p113, i think it’s the v2 in the red alert series
