Italeri is to release a new edition in their range of 1:32 scale Panavia Tornado’s, this time it’s the GR.1 with RAF ‘Desert Storm’ marking options
Not my usual scale, but sprues look good. As is usually the case with Italeri, the proof will be in the building!
Would’ve been nice to see a more varied RAF ordnance selection. Some thousand pounders for sure and maybe ALARM’s would add some more variety. No Hindenburg tanks either by the looks of it.
This looks like a big improvement over the old Revell kit. Which wasn’t too bad at all.
The tanks included are the Hindenburg tanks, or at least Italeri’s interpretation of them. Same sprue as in the GR.4 kit.
Ah, they look a bit on the skinny side in the image (unless the image itself is a bit squished horizontally?) making them look closer to the smaller tanks.
Looks very promising, this could be my first Tornado, maybe.
